Scecina’s Advanced Choir and Concert Band Shine Bright at Music in the Parks
Scecina’s Advanced Choir and Concert Band recently competed in the Music in the Parks competition at King’s Island. The results of the competition were impressive. The Advanced Choir took home 1st Place with a rating of Superior, while the Concert Band received 2nd Place and a rating of Excellent.
These are the highest ratings the school has received yet, and the students are extremely proud of their accomplishments.
“The Music in the Parks Competition was an amazing experience. I had a lot of fun practicing for the songs and also getting to perform. I was very stressed but Mr. Ritchie did a lot to make sure we weren’t nervous. Thank you, Mr. Ritchie!” – Leonel Ponce, Scecina Band member.
