Transfer Students

We welcome students wishing to transfer to Scecina from other high schools. Transfers will be decided on a case-by-case basis. There is no application fee for transfer students, and a placement test is not required.

The process for applying as a transfer student is detailed below. If you need help with the admissions process, please call the Admissions Department at 317.352.3287.

Step 1: Submit An Application

To apply for admission, families can click here to create an online portal on SchoolAdmin and submit an online application. There is no application fee.

You also can complete the application during Open House, at a placement test, or by visiting the Office of Enrollment Management.

Step 2:  Teacher Recommendation

The recommendation form must be submitted electronically through SchoolAdmin. The form should be completed by a current teacher, guidance counselor, and/or principal.

Step 3: Submit Academic Records

Upload the following items to your application checklist:

  • Most recent transcript or report card
  • Standardized test scores
  • Attendance records
  • Discipline records
  • Birth certificate
  • Immunization records
  • IEP or 504 plan (if applicable)
  • WIDA or LAS Links scores (if applicable)

Step 4: Student Interview

The interview requirement is waived for students who attended a Catholic school for at least the previous 2 years with no behavior issues or academic concerns, as measured by grades, teacher recommendation, and/or standardized test scores.

Student interviews can be scheduled on weekdays between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. If a family is unable to make this time, contact the Enrollment Department at 317.352.3287 or kfallon@scecina.org to make alternative arrangements.

Acceptance and Enrollment

Students will be notified via email about acceptances to Scecina. Students then will be able to enroll at Scecina. An enrollment checklist will appear in your SchoolAdmin account after you have been accepted.
