Scecina students excel at ICC Art Awards program

Scecina students exhibited their artistic skills at the ICC Art Awards program held at Cardinal Ritter High School on Monday, April 29. The event, which was free and open to the public, featured the presentation of student awards and a choir performance by Scecina students. The talented students received recognition in various categories.

Lily Cunagin secured 3rd place in Abstract Mixed Media, while Riley Long took 1st place in the same category. Alexia Saavedra Roman won 2nd place in 2-D Mixed Media and 2nd place in Visual Sketchbook, while Luis Manosalvas and Zoey Adcock received Honorable Mentions in the respective categories. Jacob Nguyen and Ruby Rittenhouse also received Honorable Mentions in the Ceramics category, while Shyanne Carmichael secured 2nd place in Vessel and Container Ceramics. Sydney Deiwert won the 3rd place in Sculptural Ceramics, and Isabella Hatcher secured the 1st place in Functional Ceramics.
