Repeat Regional Champs
The Scecina Crusaders won the Class 2A Regional volleyball championship. They defeated Cascade 3-1 and advanced to semistate for the second consecutive year. They played a hard-fought match against Brownstown Central. The final semistate final score was 3-2 .
Senior team captains Hannah Anglemyer and Natalie Bollenbacher were named Indiana High School Volleyball Coaches Association (IHSVCA) Academic All-State. Hannah received the Gold Award, and Natalie received the Silver Award. IHSVCA also named coach Tim Houser, Natalie Bollenbacher, juniors Isabelle Martinelle and Molly Welborn, and freshman Olivia Anglemyer on the 2A All-District Honors list. IHSVCA also selected junior Isabelle Martinelle for the 2A All-State First Team and senior Natalie Bollenbacher for the Second Team.
