Scecina plays in SemiState football game

The Scecina Crusaders won the Class 2A Regional 19 football championship last week. They take on Evansville Mater Dei this Friday, Nov. 19, for the SemiState football championship. The game starts at 6:30 p.m. at Beech Grove High School.
The only approved TV broadcast of Scecina’s Class 2A semistate football game vs. Evansville Mater Dei on Friday night is on IHSAA TV. The cost is $10 for access to the tournament games. The game starts at 6:30 p.m. Friday. Watch at www.IHSAAtv.org
In the tournament, Scecina has beaten Heritage Christian, Shenandoah, Centerville, and Lafayette Central Catholic.
Scecina is led by five All-City players: Mason Beriault, Calvin Connor, Dequan Stennis, Tamir Woods, and Travion Woods, and honorable mention All-City players Aidan Ray and Luke Soultz.
