In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
- Dear God, thank you for making all things new. Thank you for all that you allowed into our lives this past year – the good, the uncertain, and the difficult times, which all remind us that we need you to fill us every day.
- Thank you for the faith and strength you plant within us to give our very best effort and to commit ourselves to build your kingdom every day.
- May we be people of prayer, hope, and mercy. May every encounter prove that we value one another, our struggles and challenges, and our growth in harmony with you.
- We pray you will make us hopeful and strong for the road ahead. Let your gifts flow freely through us, so that people will be drawn to you, and you will be honored by our lives.
- We pray for your Spirit to lead us each step of this new year. May we desire you above all else.
- Help us to be known as great givers, to be generous and kind, to be people of prayer, hope, and mercy.
- Lord, we confess our need for you . . . fresh . . . new . . . again. We ask that you make all things new in our hearts and our minds. May we make a difference in this world for your glory and purposes. Set your way before us and guide our footsteps into the way of peace.
