Scecina Welcomes Maegan Dickerson as Head Girls Volleyball Coach
We are thrilled to announce Maegan Dickerson has been named head coach of the Scecina Memorial High School girls volleyball program for the 2025-26 school year! With two decades of coaching experience and a deep passion for developing athletes on and off the court, Dickerson is committed to fostering a competitive yet supportive environment where players can grow, excel, and reach their full potential.
Dickerson’s volleyball journey began at Waupun High School, where she was a four-year varsity letter winner and played a key role in securing three state championships. Her outstanding achievements earned her a place in her high school’s Hall of Fame, and she held the all-time kill record for eight years after graduation. She continued her athletic and academic career at Purdue University, earning a full scholarship to play volleyball while obtaining a degree in child development.
Her passion for coaching emerged during her senior year of college when she began working with Performance Point Volleyball Club. Since then, she has coached at various levels, including Club Breakout in Waupun, Wisconsin; The Academy Volleyball Club in Indianapolis; and Rev Volleyball Academy. Dickerson previously coached with Scecina volleyball during the 2023-24 season, and we are excited to welcome her back to lead the program into a new era of success.
Her coaching philosophy centers on teamwork, discipline, and skill development. She inspires athletes to be their best in competition and life. Her leadership, experience, and enthusiasm will be invaluable as she guides the Crusader volleyball team to new heights.
Please join us in welcoming Coach Dickerson back to Scecina! Go Crusaders!
