Student Spotlight: Dominic’s Journey
“Attending the J. Everett Light (JEL) Career Center has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in high school. I spend my mornings at Scecina and my afternoons at JEL, where I’m taking advanced dental coursework that’s preparing me for the kind of learning I’ll experience in college. I recently passed my Radiation Health and Safety exam and now have my license, which is required for dental hygiene programs in college. This opportunity has also helped me become more disciplined with my time, since I have to balance two locations each day. The counseling team at Scecina made sure I stayed on track with all my graduation requirements. I recommend this program to any student who wants to get a head start on their future or explore a potential career path before graduation.”
