Education: Bachelor of Arts, Journalism, Kent State University
Bio: I worked in newspaper journalism for most of my career. After completing a postgraduate Pulliam Fellowship with the now-defunct Indianapolis News, I went to The Anchorage Times in Alaska. I returned to Indianapolis, where I settled. In 2015, I moved from The Indianapolis Star to Scecina. I love Scecina’s diverse population of students. My husband, Pat, is an attorney and a magistrate in Marion County Superior Courts. We attend Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and have three children, Joe, Brigid, and Sean, a 2016 Scecina graduate who is studying accounting at the Kelley School of Business at IUPUI. Outside Scecina, I enjoy family time, reading, playing music, the outdoors, playing Jeopardy on Alexa, and cooking on weekends. We have one black cat, Bandit and an Australian mix, Ivy.
